Step by Step how to how to play and setup Portal Multiplayer Mod
- Install Portal Multiplayer Map in Portal Game Folder
- Add -console in LAUNCH OPTION for Portal on Steam (To prevent camera shake issue when using the portal)
- Host Port Forwarding : Port 27015
- Launch Portal via Steam
- Enable Developer Console
- Open Console
- Host Type sv_lan 0 (To disable LAN server)
- Host Type maxplayers # (# = number of players)
- Host Type map #(# = map name / First map name is pmp_testchmb_a_00)
- Client Type connect # (# = IP Address)

If you think it might not safe, you don’t need to download it. You can use this step on official map (testchmb_a_00) but you will get lot of issues due to it’s not design for multiplayer.
