"Thank you for the suggestion, yes, there are indeed several players who have made similar suggestion before. There are two reasons why I didn't add this:
The first is that the characters and skills in Chaos Galaxy can obviously be divided into different strengths, and they are not balanced (this is deliberately designed to express the story of the characters)., and some characters are much stronger than others. On the other hand, units restrain each other, for example, EMP gun have no effect on bio-units, and map guns are too powerful against mecha units and so on.
The second is about multiplayer game. As an individual developer, the net code skills required for multiplayer game and the cost of renting a server are hard be afforded.
In addition, there are Custom Commander and Custom Faction in Chaos Galaxy 2, which also allows you to form custom army to challenge powerful enemies in the galaxy for some extent.
